Shark Alley

Shark Alley is a Brighton-based design studio and brand founded and run by designer-maker Sarah Kelly. At its heart is a passion for British wildlife and the natural world, and this shines through in every piece of jewellery, print and homeware she creates. All designs begin with Sarah’s original drawings, inspired by the fascinating shapes, patterns and textures found in nature — from birds and animals to wild flowers and moths — and are lovingly hand finished in her tiny seaside studio in the UK.

Sarah’s background as an illustrator and crafter informs the distinctive, creative quality of her work. Rather than chasing trends, Shark Alley designs are made to be timeless, beautiful and cherished for years to come. The name Shark Alley itself is a playful anagram of Sarah’s own name.

Shark Alley’s collections are stocked in galleries and shops across the UK, and include hand-painted jewellery, prints and craft kits — all reflecting Sarah’s love of colour, detail and the English countryside.
