Applying for The Maker’s Fair
Who Can Apply:
Makers, artists, and designers
Individuals producing their own original works, whether designing or hand-making. We do not accept mass produced products, fast fashion or products constructed from pre-made components.
Please note- there are no geographical restrictions on who can apply. We welcome applicants from far and wide, just as long as you are prepared to travel the distance!
What We Look For:
Highly skilled artists and craftspeople
Creatives working at a professional level.
Originality, creativity and quality
Requirements:
A strong online presence
Current examples of your work visible on a professional social media account, personal website, or online shop
Stanmer House Summer Fair: 5th -6th July
The Maker’s Fair at Stanmer House takes place in and around the historic Georgian manor in Stanmer Park, Brighton. With stalls spread through the grand indoor rooms and outdoor space, the fair features a wide range of handmade work, live music, artist demos, and food and drink from local producers.

Join us for a two-day fair featuring 60 exceptional exhibitors spread throughout the ground floor rooms and gardens of Stanmer House. The Garden will house an extra stall area, food trucks and artist demos.
We are seeking makers and craftspeople—whether as exhibitors or demonstrators. Each exhibitor will be provided with a 180x75cm table. If you require space for additional display items, such as browsers, card stands, or rails, please indicate this on your application form.
Spaces Available:
Inside the house: £175 per space, includes a 180x75cm table.
Bring you own gazebo (3x3m): £160 per space, includes a 180x75cm table. Gazebo exhibitors may order extra tables at £15 each.
For those offering demonstrations, electrical supply is available but must be approved by the site team. Be sure to provide equipment details on your form.

Sheffield Park and Garden National Trust: 15-17 August
The Maker’s Fair at Sheffield Park takes place in the parkland of this historic National Trust site in East Sussex. Set beneath a large open stretch tent, the fair brings together 40 carefully selected artists and makers. With views of the lakes and ancient trees, visitors can browse high-quality handmade work in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Time: 10am–4pm each day
Location: Sheffield Park and Garden, National TrustWe are delighted to announce The Maker’s Fair at Sheffield Park and Garden — the very first event of its kind at this iconic National Trust site.
Set within the stunning historic landscape of Sheffield Park, with views of the grand house and the famous duck pond, this three-day fair will take place beneath a beautiful open stretch tent canopy. With no sides to the tent, stallholders and visitors will be immersed in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Stallholder Information:
Dates: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Times: 10am–4pm (stallholders must be ready for opening)
Included: A table measuring 180cm x 75cm
Important Setup Details:
The tent is an open canopy style with no sides.
All stallholders must remove all stock and displays from the tent at the end of each day.
Wheel trolleys are essential — there is a significant walk from the car park to the tent location.
Stallholders should be prepared for weather changes and ensure their displays are sturdy and weather-appropriate.

Standen House & Garden National Trust: 19-21 Sept
The Maker’s Fair at Standen House and Garden takes place twice a year across two outdoor areas: gazebos on Goose Green and a large marquee on the Croquet Lawn. Set within the grounds of this historic Arts and Crafts home, the fair reflects the spirit of the property and its connection to the surrounding landscape.

We are seeking makers and craftspeople at the top of their game—whether as exhibitors or demonstrators. Each exhibitor will be provided with a 180x75cm table. If you require space for additional display items, such as browsers, card stands, or rails, please indicate this on your application form.

Main Marquee: £250 per space, includes a 180x75cm table.
Gazebos (3x3m): £250 per space, includes a 180x75cm table. Gazebo exhibitors may order extra tables at £15 each.

As we are a small team, we welcome exhibitors willing to volunteer to help coordinate exhibitor arrivals each morning. If you’re interested in assisting with managing the driveway and loading bays, we offer a reduced exhibitor rate. Please select this option on your application if you’d like to offer your assistance.
